ISTE C 4.2.a
Pursue professional learning that deepens expertise in the ISTE Standards in order to serve as a model for educators and leaders. I chose this article because it demonstrates my ability to continually learn more about implementing instructional technology. This paper discusses a professional development workshop I participated in about “Cultivating Curiosity in the Classroom” with Wendy Ostroff. Ostroff taught the idea that a productive learning environment is based around a students’ natural ability to be curious. This and other professional developments encourage best practices, provide research based strategies, and other educational knowledge to help teachers successfully integrate technology. 

ISTE C 4.2.b
Actively participate in professional learning networks to enhance coaching practice and keep current with emerging technology and innovations in pedagogy and the learning sciences. I chose this artifact because it demonstrates my ability to build my colleagues' instructional technology knowledge through an adult learning program. This professional development shows teachers how to use a Google Drive to increase student engagement, collaboration, presentations, and reflection. This is a three day adult learning program where educators learn and explore the resource, create a lesson using the resource, and then present their work in order to reflect on learning while giving other teachers lesson ideas. The goal was to further teachers' knowledge about using technology in the classroom to enhance learning. 

ISTE C 4.2.c
Establish shared goals with educators, reflect on successes and continually improve coaching and teaching practice. I chose the artifact because it demonstrates my ability to often evaluate and reflect on my instructional technology teaching strategies and methods with the purpose of enhancing student learning.. This paper is a reflection of course EDIT 605 and my growth in professional knowledge. In this reflection, I discuss my understanding of the Universal Design for Learning or UDL, a teaching practice where all students have the chance to succeed. I describe how I used instructional technology to improve a lesson using multiple means of engagement, representation, and expression or action.  Through reflection, teachers can add and subtract parts of a lesson in order to create one great lesson where all students have the opportunity to be successful.
